I’m making lists of things that your spouse may have done in the past, and you don’t know it’s even something you have to do now! I will be expanding this as I get new ideas and suggestions. I’ll add in some links to video tutorials where I can. I hope some of these things will help you out! There have been so many things I didn’t know had to be done.

New Beginnings http://setfreeministry.us/new-beginnings/ Sun, 20 Dec 2020 17:52:10 +0000 http://setfreeministry.us/?p=263 [Read more...]]]> So, it has been over a year since Joe died. Fourteen months. Life has been a little crazy in that year. I’ve had foot surgery, a pandemic, an old mobile home than needed renovating, and figuring out what my life is going to look like now. I haven’t really figured out that last one yet. But I did start a support group in my park for people who have lost their spouses. Unfortunately, there are a lot of candidates for my group. New Beginnings is the name we’ve chosen for ourselves, so I’m going to use it here also.

As I continue to move forward with my life, I’ve learned a lot, felt a lot, and met a lot of wonderful people in the process. So I’m converting this website over to a place where I can share my heart and my findings about widowhood, and anything else I feel like. It’s my website, right?

I have not deleted the blog posts from our ministry and my husband’s memorial services. I just can’t bear to lose them right now. I’m sure you understand!

If you’re visiting, I hope you will find something here that inspires you.
