I have started a new page called, can you believe it? Retirement. I am starting with the information I learned about Social Security, as that was the key to my being able to retire.

I’ll be sharing more as my journey begins, and plan to add more information on my finance discoveries and future plans.

Life had evened out. I had my house livable and in a happy place. Circumstances suddenly changed when it became necessary for my mom and I to move in together. We both had single-wide homes, and neither was large enough for both of us, and could accommodate mom’s health needs. So, we decided to buy a double-wide and sell both of the singles.

That was the beginning of an eight-month series of very stressful events. Packing, fixing, moving, trying to sell, and things not selling, paying extra lot rents on places were weren’t living in. Everything finally got wrapped up last month with the final sale of mom’s place. We moved in to our new place in December, and we have a lot of work to do yet, but we are liking the new place. We have high hopes!
