We had a great time this year at Hemans Camp. Randy and Marli Brown were our music and evangelistic team for the camp. They are great friends of ours, in addition to being inspirational and challenging.
We were, once again, in charge of the Bible School program at camp this year. We had 21 - 27 children each day. We studied Noah and the great flood. We learned about God's covenant with Noah, Noah's obedience to God, God's provision for Noah and his family. Brenda was able to use her new face painting technique this year to illustrate the Bible story for the day. We also had music, games and crafts to help in our sharing of this great Bible story.
We had special guests, also! We had missionaries from Brazil and Mexico come in to share with us. We also had our own SOWERS (Servants on Wheels Every Ready), and a Pastor who works with a Christian motorcycle group to bring the Gospel message to bikers.
On Thursday, some of our special balloonatic friends came up and the children all got balloon sculptures. It was an extra fun day.
In the afternoons, Brenda did her face painting, and Joe showed movies and made really yummy popcorn. Saturday was an extra special day, when he made elephant ears!
